MY WRITING STORY
This journey has been a long one. That's not to say it hasn't been fun! You could be the next me!

It all started with an idea of a mage living under the rule of a highly militant, vengeful nation. I wanted my main character to have a goal, or some kind of conflict to overcome from the beginning. I chose what might be just another version of the death/life or good/evil trope.

The next thing I did was draw a map, figure out how the world he lived in actually operated. Do they have technology? Is this part of the real world? What langauge(s) do they speak there? What kind of impact do the linguistics have on their culture and vice versa? Is there religion? What are the politics like?

Then, everything just seemed to flow. I had a point to make, however subtly, and I tried my hardest to make it poignantly and beautifully.

The actual nuts and bolts came afterward: find a publisher, copyright my work, get an editor, and find/hire a graphic designer. Then, all of a sudden, BOOM! My book is live! Pick one up today!
